用60 Co -γ射线辐照中棉花粉 ,与四倍体棉花 (90 2 0 7)进行有性杂交 ,并获得后代材料。F1代表现出明显的中棉性状 ,F2 代在无限果枝型性状分离中仍有父本性状的显现。经分析和细胞学观察父本为二倍体 ,母本为四倍体 ,后代材料均为四倍体 ;F3 代同工酶电泳分析 ,零式果枝型显示出 1条中棉特有的谱带。证明二倍体遗传物质转入了四倍体细胞中。表明辐照父本花粉克服远缘杂交不亲和性 ,实现异源基因转移具有独特作用
Cotton pollen was irradiated with 60Co-γ rays and sexually crossed with tetraploid cotton (90 2 0 7) to obtain progeny material. F1 showed a clear cotton characters, F2 generation in the infinite fruit branch character separation still have the appearance of paternal characters. The results of analysis and cytology showed that the male parent was diploid, the female parent was tetraploid, and the material of the offspring was tetraploid. The F3 isozyme electrophoresis analysis showed that one type of mid-cotton specific band . Proved diploid genetic material into the tetraploid cells. The results showed that irradiating male parent pollen overcomes the incompatibility of distant hybridization and has a unique role in heterologous gene transfer
