近三、四年来,在苏联和其他許多国家中都进行了多量的关于探索赤霉素对植物生長发育之影响的研究。已經确定,在其影响下,許多植物的形态构造发生变化,有时产量也增加。在許多場合,借助于赤霉素可以有效地影响种子和芽的休眠期。这一切都証明,赤霉素是一种生理活性物質,它对植物中的重要生理过程有强烈的影响。为了研究赤霉素对植物的生長发育、产量及其品质的影响,我們曾以番茄(希旦保夫品种)和萵苣(莫斯科品种)进行試驗。此外,我們并研究了赤霉素对产品质量和植物物質代謝的影响。
In the last three or four years, numerous studies have been conducted in the Soviet Union and many other countries on exploring the effects of gibberellin on plant growth and development. It has been determined that under the influence of many plant morphological structures have changed, and sometimes the yield has also increased. On many occasions, the dormancy of seeds and buds can be effectively influenced by means of gibberellins. All this proves that gibberellin is a physiologically active substance that has a strong effect on important physiological processes in plants. In order to study the effect of gibberellin on plant growth, yield and quality, we conducted experiments with tomato (Cheddar) and lettuce (Moscow). In addition, we also studied the effect of GA on product quality and plant metabolism.
