In order to optimize the shot training program, the author uses orthogonal design method to select nine representative schemes from 81 kinds of test programs. Through the analysis of the data of the nine schemes, the primary and secondary relationships that affect the many factors of shot put are determined, and the optimization scheme with factors is found out so as to achieve the goal of short-term training of student athletes to improve performance.
