利用放射性同位素生物导向治疗肿瘤是现代治疗学重点研究课题之一。放射性同位素~(153)钐含有起治疗作用的β射线和容易示踪的γ射线,半衰期适中,化学性质活泼,是理想的内放射治疗同位素。经过多年反复实验,终于找到容易与~(153)钐络合且化学性质稳定、对人体无毒无害的化学物质EDTMP。将此种络合物经静脉注入人体,会迅速浓聚在发生病变的骨组织,通过释放β射线,能在近距离直接杀伤肿瘤细胞而起到治疗作用。此种络合物对健康骨组织及人体其它组织亲合力小而使用相当安全。
The use of radioisotope bioguided therapy for tumors is one of the key research topics in modern therapeutics. The radioactive isotope ~ (153) 钐 contains therapeutically effective beta ray and easily-traced gamma ray, has a moderate half-life, and is chemically active. It is an ideal radiotherapy isotope. After years of repeated experiments, EDTMP, a chemical substance that is easily complexed with ~(153) ruthenium and is chemically stable and non-toxic to the human body, has been found. When this complex is intravenously injected into the human body, it will rapidly accumulate in the bone tissue where the lesion occurs, and by releasing the beta rays, it can directly kill the tumor cells at close range and play a therapeutic role. Such complexes have a low affinity for healthy bone tissue and other human tissues and are relatively safe to use.
