除草剂土壤封闭处理是目前农田化学除草的主要方法之一,我省稻田除草每年采用除草醚进行土壤封闭处理的面积已有800多万亩,占稻田化学除草面积的80%以上。除草剂土壤处理,主要是通过位差选择(即错开药物层和作物种子或根系分布的位置)和时差选择(即错开毒土药效起作用与作物萌发出苗的时间)来达到灭草保苗的目的,是使用化学除草剂的基本疗法。这种方法简便易行,工效高,一般人工喷雾每人每人5亩以上,撤毒土每人每天15～20亩,使用拖拉机或飞机喷撤,效率更高。
