匈牙利社会主义工人党目标明确而又始终一贯的农业政策是近十年来匈牙利经济顺利发展的主要因素之一。在实践中证明是正确的这种政策正在积极地贯彻执行。在农业方面正在发生有利的进展。现在在这一部门中生产面积比1965～1957年减少10％,劳动力数减少1/2,而产量却增加1倍。居民的食品供应水平良好,食品消费量在最近25年期间按人口平均计算增加1倍。持久地带来出超和扩大本国经济发展来源的农产品出口显著增长。
The targeted and consistent agricultural policy of the Hungarian Socialist Party has been one of the major factors in the smooth development of Hungary’s economy in the past decade. This policy, which proves to be correct in practice, is being actively implemented. Favorable advances are taking place in agriculture. The production area in this sector is now 10% less than in 1965-1957, the labor force is reduced by a factor of two, and the output is doubled. Residents have a good food supply and food consumption has doubled on average in the last 25 years. Exports of agricultural products that have persistently led to surpassing and expanding their sources of economic development have increased significantly.
