1950年,Preston发明了Nesa透明导电玻璃,开创了研制透明导电膜的历史。Nesa导电膜是掺杂的二氧化锡,是用四氯化锡热解产生的。1968年,美国无线电公司的Vosse等人研制成功氧化铟锡透明导电膜,简称ITO膜,具有电阻率低、透光率高的优点。因此,它得到了广泛的应用。主要应用范围有: (1)光电器件:用作光导视象管和微光管的信号输出电极; (2)显示器件:用作液晶、电致发光、等离子体显示和电致变色等新型显示器件的电极; (3)用作光学镜头和飞机窗玻璃的防雾层; (4)用于太阳能收集和变换装置。
In 1950, Preston invented Nesa transparent conductive glass, creating a history of the development of transparent conductive film.
