In 2005, the International Cooperation Council for China’s Environment and Development set up a working group entitled “China’s Economic Growth and Environment”. As a foreign expert, Professor Mark Anilki, a well-known economist for sustainable development, worked with Prof. Li Jiange, former deputy director of Development Research Center of the State Council of China, executive director of the research group, and quantitative economy and technical economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Qi Jian, deputy director
