北京站是首都的门户,每天旅客流量达七万至十万人,客货运输任务十分繁重。随着我国“四化”建设的发展,北京的车站站房、站前广场和公共交通场站,迫切需要改建或扩建。目前北京市内用地紧张,如何适应这种情况并实现现代化的要求,是我们必须考虑的一个课题。为此,我们对北京火车站进行了一些调查,发现存在不少问题,并查阅了一些国外资料,感到:一个交通枢纽在规划和建设上,是“综合”布局还是“分散”布局;是“方便旅客”还是“方便管理”;是“全面规划、统一建设”还是“零敲碎打、填填补补”;是“统一领导”还是“各自为政”,是个值得探讨的重要问题。国
Beijing Railway Station is the gateway to the capital. Every day passenger traffic reaches 70,000 to 100,000 and the task of passenger and cargo transport is very heavy. With the development of the “four modernizations” in our country, Beijing’s station buildings, station squares and public transportation stations are in urgent need of reconstruction or expansion.
