在IEEE 802.11标准协议中,终端通常根据接收到的信号强度进行接入或切换,这将导致各个AP之间的负载出现差异,使网络的整体性能下降,造成无线网络资源浪费。为此,文中提出一种负载均衡控制方法,各个AP相互交换负载状态信息,当系统出现负载不均时,通过把超载AP服务范围内的终端切换到轻载AP上,以降低各个AP之间的负载差异。仿真结果表明,该方法能够平衡各个AP之间的负载,提高网络的系统吞吐量。
In the IEEE 802.11 standard protocol, the terminal usually accesses or switches according to the received signal strength, which leads to load differences among the APs, degrading the overall performance of the network and causing waste of wireless network resources. Therefore, a load balancing control method is proposed in this paper. Each AP exchanges the load status information with each other. When the system has a load imbalance, the terminal in the overloaded AP service range is switched to a light-load AP to reduce the load The load difference. Simulation results show that this method can balance the load between each AP and improve the system throughput of the network.
