为了适应冷战后世界新的政治军事形势及信息技术发展的需要,美国陆军率先提出了“21世纪陆军发展构想”,并着手建立“21世纪新型陆军”。这一发展构想的实质是“用信息武装部队”,即充分利用信息技术革命提供的机遇,在传统陆军的基础上建设一支数字化的新型陆军部队。展望未来,数字化部队将代表着美国武装力量整体发展方向,并将对其他国家的军队建设和未来战争产生重大的影响。
In order to meet the needs of the new political and military situation and the development of information technology in the post-cold-war world, the United States Army pioneered the “Vision of Army Development in the 21st Century” and set about establishing the “new army in the 21st century.” The essence of this development concept is “Armed Forces with Information,” which takes full advantage of the opportunities provided by the information technology revolution to build a new digital Army force based on the traditional army. Looking ahead, the digital force will represent the overall direction of the U.S. armed forces and will have a significant impact on the army building and future wars in other countries.
