一、共性与个性英语教学是学校教育的一个重要组成部分。英语教材、教法的改革必须紧紧围绕学校教育的整体目标,遵循教育、教学的一般规律。这是改革的一个基本立足点。英语教学服务于学校教育的整体目标是通过英语学科的特点体现的,因为“共性寓于个性”是一条具有普遍性的规律。然而,多年来,我们总是过多地强调了共性,在某些方面,甚至完全用从其他学科中抽象出来的共性取代英语学科的个性,比如,“知识是能力形成的基础”这个命题,对英语学科来说,却未必完全适用,英语知识是英语能力形成的基础,因为没有上述基础,读写就无从谈起。但事实上,在大多数英语教育工作者的心目中,英语知识主要是指词汇学、
First, commonness and personality English teaching is an important part of school education. The reform of English teaching materials and teaching methods must closely focus on the overall goals of school education and follow the general laws of education and teaching. This is a basic foothold for reform. The overall goal of serving English education in school education is reflected by the characteristics of the English language discipline, because “commonness lies in personality” is a universal law.
