Language teachers are subordinate to teachers. Reading teaching is subordinate to teaching. The role of teachers in reading teaching naturally accords with the teachers’ role in teaching, but also has the particularity of reading teaching. Studying only the teacher’s role in reading and disregarding the teacher as a special reader leads to a fallacy in the research. Studying only the teacher’s role in teaching and neglecting the teacher’s dominant position in reading can put the research in a dilemma and stagnate . Read the teacher’s corner in teaching
