Objective To investigate the expression of GILZ and Ki-67 in epithelial ovarian cancer and its clinical significance. Methods The expression of GILZ and Ki-67 in 12 cases of normal ovarian tissue, 19 cases of benign ovarian tumor and 45 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer were collected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from 2006 to 2012 by immunohistochemical SP method Detect, analyze the correlation between GILZ and Ki-67, and analyze the related clinical factors. Results (1) The expression rates of GILZ and Ki-67 in epithelial ovarian cancer (57.78%, 46.67%) were significantly higher than those in normal ovarian tissues and benign ovarian tumors (0,0; 0,15.79 %) (P <0.05). (2) The expression of GILZ and Ki-67 had no correlation with age, type of tissue, clinical stage, lymphatic metastasis, ascites and chemotherapy (P> 0.05). (3) There was a positive correlation between GILZ and Ki-67 expression. Conclusions (1) The expression of GILZ and Ki-67 in epithelial ovarian cancer is significantly higher than that in normal ovarian tissues and benign ovarian tumors, suggesting that GILZ and Ki-67 may play an important role in the development of ovarian cancer. (2) The increase of GILZ expression can lead to the increase of cell proliferation. The high expression level of GILZ can be used as an important index to judge the malignant degree and progression of ovarian cancer. (3) Combined detection of GILZ and Ki-67 will have some reference value for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of tumors.
