Kant’s concept “intellektuell Anschauung” is a very controversial topic, and it has experienced different fates in the eastern and western cultures. The analysis here shows that the concept of Kant’s has three fundamental significations at least: 1st, the dimension of the external intuitions as “intelligibel intuition” of some non?objectified “transcendental object”; 2nd, the dimenstion of the internal intuition as “intelligible intuition” of some non?objectified “transcendental object”; 3rd, the creative intuition or imagination in the sense of the “intuitus originarius”. The subsequent adoption and development of the concept “intellectual intuition” in the west and the east is essentially based on these three original significations.
