在拉丁美洲的文学史上,小国家产生世界瞩目的大文豪和伟大作品的奇特现象,深层次地反映出文学与社会现实、与历史、与民族性等关系问题。以中美洲洪都拉斯作家霍尔德·路易期·奥维德小说创作为例,可以发现:关注社会现实,以文学认识国民性,叙述一个民族的精神成长,是其小说创作的根本蕲向所在。在奥维德的小说中有全新的文学观念和社会、历史观念,他的觉悟和认识水平得益于本土的传统文化与现实相结合,得益于20世纪百年历史的巨变之契合,得益于与优秀的世界文学的大融合。
In the history of Latin American literature, the peculiar phenomenon that small countries produce the great writers and great works that the world has drawn attention to reflect the relations between the literary and social reality, history and nationality. Taking Honoré’s writer Holder Louis Ovid’s novels in Central America as an example, we can find that paying attention to social reality, recognizing nationality in literature, and narrating the spiritual growth of a nation are the fundamental orientations of his novels. In Ovid’s novel, he has a brand-new literary concept and social and historical conceptions. His level of awareness and understanding benefited from the combination of the local traditional culture and reality, benefiting from the great changes in the centenary history of the 20th century.
