界首青二号萝卜是从地方萝卜品种中选出的变异单株,经多年系统选育而成。界首青二号萝卜根形美观,质脆味甜,具有“水果萝卜”之美称。其产量较地方品种‘界首青’增产19.7％。由于其萝卜优质、高产、抗病,已在安徽许多地区推广种植。近几年在山东、河南、江苏等省市试种推广,深受菜农欢迎。特征特性为秋冬萝卜品种,生育期85天左右;叶丛披散,裂叶,缺刻较深;肉质根为圆筒型,根顶略小,肉质根长20厘米,横径6～9厘米,一般单株根重0.75～1公斤,最大根重可达6公斤;表皮光滑美观,上青下白,青白比为4:l;肉淡绿色,质地细密极脆嫩,
