本文由20世纪30年代日本电影第一个黄金时期的导演史论及“时代剧”这一传统类型片风格切入,直接进入到英年早逝的电影导演山中贞雄其“时代剧的庶民电影”的研究,通过他目前仅存于世的三部作品中具有代表性的两部:《丹下左膳余话·百万两之(?)》与《人情纸风船》的全景式本文分析进而阐释抽离出的所谓“山中风格”的理论建构。
