府城至定安驿道,是海南古驿保存最完整的线路之一。该驿成型不晚于元至正年间,铺石不晚于明正德年间,走向及铺石记载清晰可考。现尚能看到石板遗迹的路段接近一公里,石板较完整段约三十米。据考,这是全岛明代石板驿道的最后一处实物遗存。唯一的例外琼崖古驿,堪称海南最大的系统性历史遗存。环岛驿是琼崖古驿的主体,当代古驿爱好者甚至只关注环岛驿。可惜环岛驿中有据可查的明代 Fucheng to Ding An Yi Road, Hainan Ancient Station is one of the most complete preservation of the line.
