0 Introduction Statistical analysis of traffic accidents shows that driver fatigue driving is one of the important causes of traffic fatal accidents. Japan’s accident statistics revealed that accidents due to fatigue accounted for about 1 to 1.5%. A report by the French National Police Agency on traffic accidents showed that a car accident caused by fatigue and drowsiness accounted for 14.9% of all injuries and 20.6% of fatal accidents.
