本文根据421台 ND_5型机车截至1988年已完成货运列车周转量5970亿吨公里的运行情况,对 ND_5型机车的经济效益、机车运用水平、操纵方法、制动选择以及质量问题等,作了较全面的分析。认为 ND_5型机车购置费,再过5~6年就可全部收回,还提出了十点运用、检修、管理等方面的建议。如建议推行以电阻制动为主的制动方法,建议推广 N7、N8和空转交替使用的矩形操作节油方法,建议研究机油品质控制的合理标准等。
