Polyamines are small-molecule, aliphatic, non-proteinaceous, nitrogen-containing compounds such as putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine, and spermine, which are important metabolic regulators in the body. Malignant tumors are particularly prosperous in their growth and metabolism, resulting in an increase in polyamines in body fluids. In 1971, Russell first discovered that polyamines in patients with malignant tumors were significantly higher than those in healthy people. Later studies at home and abroad have reported in this area. As a biochemical indicator of tumor diagnosis and efficacy evaluation. Materials and Methods: Our department collected 179 cases of diagnosed malignant tumors and collected 24-hour urinary polyamines. Among the patients, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and malignant lymphoma were the main components.
