由中国生物医学工程学会心脏起搏技术工程专业委员会举办的心脏起搏临床和技术学术研讨会于1991年4月14～16日在苏州召开。出席会议的代表共254名,来自29省市自治区,交流论文38篇。会议期间代表们观看了由美国纽约Montefiore医疗中心外科博士Richard Brodman在苏州医学院附属第一医院安置的我国首例埋藏式自动除颤器(AICD)手术录相。着重就有关心房起搏、频率自适应起搏的进展及临床应用进行了讨论。美国专家及苏联莫斯科
The Symposium on Clinical and Technological Advances in Cardiac Pacing, which was held by the Professional Committee of Cardiac Pacing Technology of China Society of Biomedical Engineering, was held in Suzhou on April 14-16, 1991. A total of 254 representatives attended the meeting, from 29 provinces and autonomous regions, exchange of papers 38. During the conference, the delegates watched the first occlusive AID surgery recorded by Dr. Richard Brodman, a surgeon at the Montefiore Medical Center in New York, in the First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou Medical College.
