Harvesting sunlight is one of the skills masters of plants billions of years ago, using solar energy to feed themselves through photosynthesis through the surrounding air and water. Scientists also figured out how to use solar power to generate hydrogen from photovoltaic cells to later fuel cells. But hydrogen has never been used as a worldwide utility fuel for automobiles or for liquid fuel generation. According to a recent report by the Physicist’s Organization Network, inspired by the leaves of Harvard Medical School and the Institute of Bio-engineering at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Medical School, the United States has created a “artificial leaf” that uses bacteria to convert solar energy into liquid fuel. The system, which uses a catalyst to make the sun break down water into hydrogen and oxygen, designs a bacterium
