英语课程标准(2011年版)中强调,中学生的英语阅读量除教材外不少于30万词。由此可见,关注学生的课外阅读训练,是英语教学的重要补充,能在丰富学生阅读理解思维基础上,使得学生的语言文化知识视野更为开阔。借助策略指导活化教学过程,一方面,便于培养学生英语学习的主动性和积极性,将被动阅读学习转化为内在的自觉发展需要;另一方面,使得学生有效融合课内外知识,让他们在探索尝试阅读过程中发现问题、探究和解决问题。
English Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition) emphasizes that secondary school students’ reading volume of English should not be less than 300,000 words except textbooks. Thus, focusing on students ’extra-curricular reading training is an important complement to English teaching, which can enrich students’ reading comprehension and broaden their horizons of language and culture. On the one hand, it is easy to cultivate the initiative and enthusiasm of students in English learning and translate the passive reading learning into the intrinsic self-conscious development needs; on the other hand, it enables students to effectively integrate the knowledge inside and outside the class so as to enable them to explore Discover problems during reading, explore and solve problems.
