香港电力市场概况香港面积1097平方公里,2004年年底人口688.3万人,人口密度为每平方公里6380人,共有住户225.7万户。2004年,香港地区生产总值(GDP)达到12,820亿港元,人均18.83万港元。香港本地的用电量由1970年45亿千瓦时,增长到2004年423亿千瓦时,短短34年间增长了940%。根据香港特区统计处资料显示,预计到2015年,香港人口将会增至780 多万人,电力使用量将增至417亿千瓦时,较1997年时的用电量增加31%。香港的电力供应主要来自两家电力公司: 香港电灯有限公司(港灯)和中电控股旗下的中华电力有限公司(中电)。
Hong Kong Electricity Market Overview Hong Kong covers an area of 1,097 square kilometers with a population of 6,883,000 at the end of 2004 and a population density of 6,380 people per square kilometer with a total of 2,257,000 households. In 2004, Hong Kong’s gross domestic product (GDP) reached 1,282 billion Hong Kong dollars, with a per capita population of 188,300 Hong Kong dollars. The local electricity consumption in Hong Kong increased from 4.5 billion kwh in 1970 to 42.3 billion kwh in 2004, an increase of 940% in just 34 years. According to statistics from the Census and Statistics Department of Hong Kong, it is estimated that by 2015, the population of Hong Kong will increase to more than 7.8 million. Electricity consumption will increase to 41.7 billion kwh, up 31% from 1997. Hong Kong’s electricity supply comes mainly from two power companies, Hong Kong Electric Co., Ltd. (HEC) and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP), a unit of CLP Holdings.
