紀律教育在學校里是應該被十分重視的。如果學生沒有紀律,没有組織的習慣,不僅目前不可能好好學習,將來也不可能好好工作。因為學校生活是集體的,没有集體生活紀律。就不能使學校的教導活動,有步驟有秩序地進行。更重要的還在於養成學生一定的組織紀律觀念和集體生活習慣,以便他們将來從新民主主義社會過渡到社會主義社會,更好地爲人民服務。我們進行紀律教育的目標,是遵循人民教育家徐特立同志的指示:“一切紀律只是自覺的遵守,不是受到無理的外力壓迫而遵守。”也就是要培養學生自覺地遵守紀律的習慣,要老老實實地去學習,認真負責地去工作,要深切地關心自己和同學的進步,高度發揚互助友愛的精神,尊敬師長,待人和氣有禮,注意節約,愛護公共財物,服從領導,遵守校規。
