Earlier this year, Lawrence Samos, president of Harvard University, once claimed that “female women are less likely to build trees in the scientific field because of gender differences between men and women.” When this statement was made, it provoked an uproar in the American public opinion. Is it true that men are naturally better suited to engage in scientific research? This article argues that scientists are not born, they are made after the day. The graphs in the text show that with the increasing proportion of women receiving higher education, they have more opportunities to show themselves. Like men, women can also find their own world in science. What do you think?
