The dock is also where Toyota (UK) companies export Toyota cars manufactured in Britain to the European Union, including Scandinavian countries. Toyota expects to export 100,000 units or more by the end of the 1990s. Grimsby is an ancient fishing port in the country. In recent years, United Harbor Corporation has leased the port harbors 1 and 3 of the port to local fishing groups for operation. With funding from the European Union and the British government, the Group invested 13.5 million pounds in the construction of a fishery handling complex in Hong Kong.
