Using 1048 Han nationality adolescents as subjects, using questionnaire and genotyping techniques, the traditional regression analysis and the re-parametric regression analysis were used to investigate the interaction between COM15 Val158Met polymorphism and peer-to-peer depression on adolescent depression. Their gender differences. The results showed that COMT gene interaction with fellow admission and peer refusal to predict depression in adolescents, specifically, in the low companion acceptance or high companion rejection environment, adolescents carrying ValVal genotype depression was higher than the Met allele carriers; in the high Adolescents with the ValVal genotype had lower levels of depression than those with the Met allele in peer acceptance or low peer rejection. In addition, the interaction between COMT gene and peer acceptance and peer rejection is more closely related to depression in boys. The results showed that the interaction between COMT gene and fellow peer-to-peer relationship provided evidence for different susceptibility models, and there was a gender difference in this gene × environmental interaction effect.
