随着我国改革开放的深入,信息产业的空前发展,一些不健康的东西不断地侵蚀着我们广大的青少年,尤其是他们的审美观令人担忧。这些学生从发式、衣着打扮,到饮食、生活等,都以某一歌星、明星为模式。个别学生表现为情感冷漠,以自我为中心,盲目追求所谓的时尚。这实际上是一种中缺乏自我、缺乏思想、否定自我的意识表现。如果任其发展卜去,将会对学生的人生观、价值观、世界观产生不利的影响,对于学生的身心发展是极为不利的。音乐课的教学也同样遇到了阻力,一些学生对书本的歌曲不感兴趣,他们只喜欢流行歌曲、迪斯科和摇滚乐,他们的审美观是建立在——个不健全的、狭小的、且不利于其身心发展的局限范围,长期下去,他们的民族意识就会淡化,甚至会忘了自己是什么人。音乐课具有着与其他学科(艺术类除外)所不具备的审美功能。小学阶段是青少年身心发展的重要时期,尤其是中高年级阶段。音乐教育是最能培养人、陶冶情感的一门学科,在培养学生良好的心理素质、身体素质、审美素质、道德素质等方面,都有着特殊的影响和不可取代的作用。
