对樟子松、华北落叶松和侧柏苗木生根情况及体内碳水化合物含量变化的研究发现,樟子松必须在有新生光合产物情况下才能生根;华北落叶松在发根初期消耗的是苗木体内贮存的碳水化合物,而在后期、根伸长时则主要靠新生光合产物提供能量;侧柏可同时利用贮存的碳水化合物和新生光合产物作为新根生长的能源,在新生光合产物缺乏的情况下,侧柏靠贮存的碳水化合物同样可以生根.
