1935年3月8日凌晨,著名影星阮玲玉在寓所饮药自尽,消息传开后,在社会引起巨大反应,引起社会热烈讨论,各大报刊纷纷登载。评论者从一开始对阮玲玉自杀原因,遗书真伪、演技卓绝、哀痛悼念的关注上逐渐转移到阮玲玉自杀意义、新女性形象、社会压迫、妇女解放的层面上。在舆论的发酵中,各种意识形态的影响下,阮玲玉已经逐渐变成一种社会符号,失去了本来面貌。笔者以立场中立、经营独立、关注电影、娱乐的天津地区著名画报《北洋画报》作为考查对象,通过搜索整理《北洋画报》上关于阮玲玉的报道,考查普通报刊、普通读者对阮玲玉自杀事件的态度,力图去符号化,还原一个真实的阮玲玉。
In the early hours of March 8, 1935, the well-known movie star Ruan Lingyu drank himself at the dwelling. After the news spread, he caused great repercussions in the community, arousing heated discussions in the community and various newspapers and periodicals were published. From the very beginning, the commenters shifted their attention to the causes of suicide, the authenticity of the suicide note, the remarkable performance of acting, the mournful mourning of Ruan Lingyu’s suicide, as well as the significance of Nanying’s suicide, new female image, social oppression and women’s liberation. In the fermentation of the media, under the influence of various ideologies, Ruan Lingyu has gradually become a social symbol, losing its original appearance. The author takes Beiyang Pictorial, a well-known pictorial of Tianjin area, which is independent, concerned about film and entertainment, as the object of investigation. By searching and sorting out the reports about Ruan Lingyu in Beiyang Pictorial, the author investigates the attitudes of ordinary newspapers and ordinary readers on the Nanyin’s murderous suicide , Trying to symbolize, restore a real Ruan Ling Yu.
