This experiment was conducted in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China, to demonstrate the growth performance of the American redfish from fish species to commodity specifications in offshore cages using soybean meal-based feed. The test will be American redfish stocking in 3 6.4 m ~ 3 cages, stocking density of 1000 / box. Feeds for feed were 43% crude protein and 12% crude fat, which contained 52% soybean meal in a partial replacement of fishmeal. After 89 days of breeding, American redfish grew from 227 grams to an average of 1,037 grams. The average gross yield of the three cages is 121 kg / m 3 (775 kg / bbl). The average survival rate was 74.9%. The average feed conversion factor was 1.77: 1. The average net income was RMB 5096 yuan / box (US $ 575 / box), with a return on investment of 26.6%. Breeding American Red Fish with Soy Meal Feed shows rapid growth and can grow up to twice the target product specification of 500 grams in 89 days. On the 55th day of testing, the feed efficiency was significantly affected as a result of the high rate of fish mortality caused by the exchange of boxes and hence the stress on fish in the United States.
