作者认为物理学的方法既不是现实主义的又不是唯心主义的,它挽不是推理的又不是操作的。但是在研究工作中,可以抱这样一个态度:现实主义和唯心主义都被克服了,同时又统合起来了。作者是从怎样计量时间着手来研究钟表的准确性问题的方法论。从实际经验中他得出这样一个结论:为了完成对准确性问题的研究工作必须放弃严格推论的方法,而投入到行动中去。这种积极的行动不仅利用已经制成的仪器来作简单的实验,而且也包括仪器制造的本身。理论和实践同时集中表现在仪器上。为了使仪器达到更精确的水平,现实主义(操作)和唯心主义(推理与假设)必须结合而且是结合在一次抚包括在现实主义又包括在唯心主义的实践中。
The author thinks that the method of physics is neither realistic nor idealistic. It does not act in reason or operate. However, in research work, one can hold the attitude that both realism and idealism have been overcome and at the same time integrated. The author is the methodology from how to measure time to study the accuracy of the clock. From the practical experience, he came to the conclusion that in order to complete the research on the accuracy problem, we must give up the method of rigorous inference and put it into action. This positive move not only makes use of already-made instruments for simple experiments, but also includes the manufacture of instruments themselves. At the same time, the theory and practice are embodied in the instrument. In order to achieve a more precise level of instrumentation, realism (idealism) and idealism (reasoning and hypotheses) must be combined and combined at one stroke, both in realism and in idealist practice.
