Research has been conducted on contradictions after the offender has been forgiven. Some studies have found that offenders will once again hurt the offended people after they have been forgiven, but other studies think it will stop hurting each other. This study examines offenders’ behaviors after forgiveness through the Paradigm of Prisoners Dilemma. The results showed that: (1) Offenders were more likely to hurt their counterparts when they were acquainted with each other when they were acquainted with each other; (2) Offenders were not inclined to forgive or not when there was a possibility of retaliation (3) When an offender is forced to hurt an offender, either with or without condoning, they are not inclined to hurt each other again. In general, offenders tend to no longer hurt each other after being forgiven. This result clarifies to some extent the contradictions of previous studies and has certain guiding significance to the interpersonal interaction. .
