叶喆民,字丹枫,1924年生于北京,满族人,北京大学文学院毕业。曾先后师从罗复堪、溥心畲、徐悲鸿三位先生学习书画,同时从父叶麟趾教授学习陶瓷,并得到陈万里、孙瀛洲二位先生的指导,在故宫从事陶瓷研究,兼及书画。20世纪80年代任中央工艺美术学院教授,兼在中央美术学院、北京大学等院校讲授陶瓷史及书法史课。曾赴英、美、日、意、印尼、香港等国家和地区的大学讲演,并多次参加国际学术会议及大型书法展览,部分论文编入专辑,多幅书法作品为海外博物馆所收藏。由于古瓷、书法造诣精深,二十年前叶民先生被国家民委评选为“民族优秀艺术家”,并曾受聘为北京中国书画研究社(社长张伯驹、肖牢)顾问。现为故宫博物院特聘研究员,首都师范大学特聘教授。然而遗憾的是,或许因为他古瓷研究成就斐然夺目,或许因为传统书道式微久矣……叶民教授的书法造诣,一直鲜为世人所知。在国祚昌盛的21世纪,为使书学真知得以传承发扬,有益于中华文化的伟大复兴,本刊特此登载叶民先生专访录,希望能对书法研习者有所启发和补益。
Ye Zhemin, the word Dan Feng, was born in Beijing in 1924, the Manchu people, graduated from the School of Liberal Arts, Peking University. He has studied painting and calligraphy from three gentlemen, Luo Fukan, Pu Xinhe and Xu Beihong. At the same time, he studied ceramics from Prof. Ye Linzhi and received guidance from two gentlemen, Chen Wanli and Sun Yingzhou, in the Forbidden City for ceramics research and painting . In the 1980s, he served as a professor of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and taught history in ceramics and calligraphy at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Peking University. He has lectured at universities in Britain, the United States, Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. He has participated in international academic conferences and large-scale calligraphy exhibitions for many times. Some of his essays have been edited into albums and many calligraphy works have been collected by overseas museums. As ancient porcelain, calligraphy accomplished, twenty years ago, Mr. Ye Min was selected by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission as a “national outstanding artist”, and was hired as Beijing Chinese painting and calligraphy research institute (president Zhang Bosu, Xiao prison) consultant. Now the National Palace Museum Distinguished Research Fellow, Capital Normal University Distinguished Professor. However, unfortunately, perhaps because of his outstanding achievements in ancient porcelain research, perhaps because of the traditional Book Road for a long time ... Professor Ye Min’s calligraphy skills, has been little known to the world. In the prosperous 21st century in our country, in order to make the study of book knowledge really carry forward and benefit the great rejuvenation of Chinese culture, we hereby publish an interview with Mr. Ye Min, hoping to be able to inspire calligraphy learners and benefit.
