《司牧安骥集》(以下简称《安骥集》)是我国现存最古的系统论述马病诊断治疗的兽医学著作。自唐以来,历代都以此书作为兽医学教科书,“师以是而教,子弟以是而学”(明代《重刊安骥集序》),对我国兽医学的发展影响巨大。关于其作者,《宋史·艺文志》说是李石,但未说明李石是何时人。清《陕西经籍志》始说明是唐朝的宗室李石。据南北宋之间伪齐时新刊本《序》看,《安骥集》最初全书应是四卷:包括医三卷,方一卷。 “Secretary Animal husbandry and Ji” (hereinafter referred to as “Anji Ji”) is the most ancient extant system of animal disease diagnosis and treatment of veterinary works.
