大量研究表明雌激素水平降低与阿尔茨海默病的发生和发展有密切关系。雌激素具有神经保护作用,但其机制尚不明确。本文主要从能量代谢角度,综述了雌激素通过改善葡萄糖代谢、调节大脑代谢及提高线粒体功能,有效保护神经细胞的作用。为应用雌激素或雌激素替代物维护神经系统的功能和防治阿尔茨海默病提供一定的理论依据。
A large number of studies have shown that decreased estrogen levels and the occurrence and development of Alzheimer’s disease are closely related. Estrogen has neuroprotective effects, but the mechanism is not yet clear. In this paper, we mainly reviewed the role of estrogen in protecting neurons by improving glucose metabolism, regulating brain metabolism and increasing mitochondrial function by focusing on energy metabolism. To provide estrogen or estrogen substitutes to maintain the function of the nervous system and provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
