红茶是经过发酵烘制而成的,发酵时茶叶在氧化酶的作用下变成红色氧化物,成为红茶。红茶品性温和,味道醇厚,除含多种水溶性维生素外,还富含微量元素钾,当冲泡后70%的钾可溶于茶水内。钾有增强心脏血液循环的作用、并能减少钙在体内的消耗。因红茶中所含的锰是骨结构不可缺少的元素之一,因而喝红茶对骨骼强健也有益处。 近年来,国外有资料报道,经常饮红茶还有防治流感、中风及皮肤癌的效果。 日本昭和大学的岛村忠藤教授经研究发现:用红茶常漱口或直接饮用有预防流感的作用。研究表明,红茶中含有的某种物质能有效杀死流感病毒。研究入员用比通常还淡薄4倍
