Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)is a gram-negative bacterium causing gastritis, peptic ulcerations and gastric carcinoma [1].H.pylori produces a small cytoplasmic protein Hpn,which accounts for approx.2%of the total cellular proteins and has 28 histidine residues among its 60 amino acids.
