A rapid and simple method with high sensitivity and specificity was established to detect seafood allergens.Based on the principle of Colloidal Gold Immun ochromatagraphic Assay (GICA),rabbit anti-crab tropomyosin IgG / rabbit anti-fish parvalbumin IgG were prepared and bound to the nitrocellulose membrane at test line,and purified shrimp or crab tropomyosin / fish parvalbumin were bound to the nitrocellulose to provide a positive control,then a colloidal gold strip method was established and applied to detect the seafood allergens.The color strip was appeared on the test region because of the compound of antigen-antibody when the result was positive for the sample.
