Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) were assembled using the TiO2 photoelectrodes, which weremodified by Ⅱ-Ⅳ group semiconductors (CdS,CdSe and CdTe) quantum dots. The structure and morphologyevidenced by XRD and SEM suggested that a uniform, well crystallized semiconductor layer was coated on thesurface of TiO2,leading to good light-to-electricity conversion performance.Further,it was also found that theDSSC efficiencies were strongly dependent on the types of sensitizers.
