This paper takes three-generation cohabitation small family house in a community in Shenyang as its research target,and based on field survey to interview with the whole family members,including the old,son of old,daughter-in-law of the old and grandson of the old,about house living conditions and requirements.Focused on the behavior patterns of daily routines of the old,it aims at oldoriented living space analysis.The revamping schemes and detailed designs for the house space of used by the old frequently have been given in this paper on the basis of studying on the requirements of improving the living condition and the expectation of revamping the house from the both of the old and other members in the family,and with the principles of elderly people psychological and physiological analysis,as well as the instruments of intensive designs.The house living condition and quality for the old has been improved through meeting the requirements of both the old and other members in the family in a small house space.This paper provides experiences and lessen-leanings related to the fields of designing and revamping of old-oriented houses in the areas of Liaoning of China.
