Objective:To review the experience of management of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) in aged 70 years and elder.Methods:From October 2002 to December 2006,22 cases elderly patients aged 70 years and elder underwent CPB.Results:One of the patients died during surgery,the others recovered.Conclusion:It was effective that using membrane oxygenation,keeping high perfusion flow and mean arterial pressure,performing myocardial protection with blood cardioplegia,using ultra filtration at time and protection important organ.
