　　Although RNAi (RNA interference) has been widely used for genetic research in insects, the detailed mechanism is not well established.Here we present a genome-wide investigation of RNAi pathway genes in the diamondback moth (DBM), Plutella xylostella (L.), a worldwide destructive pest attacking cruciferous food crops based on the published genome and transcriptome.
