Since the reform and opening up, due to the expansion and deepening of academic exchanges both at home and abroad, the historians of our country have shown a flourishing scene and the research level has been raised with unprecedented breadth and depth. Of course, all this is also inseparable from the older scholars who have worked hard for a long time in their academic fields and have left pioneering achievements. The late professor of history at Fudan University’s College of Humanities, Honorary President of the Chinese Japanese Historical Society, vice president of the Japan Society of Japan, and Shanghai Economic Society consultant Mr. Wu Jie (1918 ~ 1996) were also among them.
