The alkaloid components of Tylophora ovata (Lindl.)Hook.ex Steud possess very strong antitumor activities according to literature.In this paper,antitumor active components extracted from T.ovata by SFE-CO2,mostly were alkaloids.HeLa cells were cocultured with the extractive solution of different final concentrations (0,12.5,25.0,50.0,100.0μg/ml) for 24,48,72h and the inhibition rate of HeLa cells was measured by MTT assay.
