Background and Aim KSH\7 Inflammatory Cytokines Syndrome (KICS) is a new virus-associated recently described condition, characterized by severe inflammatory symptoms (fevers sweats wasting cytopenia hypoalbuminemia, hyponatremia), elevated KSHV viral load and v-lL6, resembling Multicentric Castleman Disease (MCD) though without pathologic findings of MCD.
