  This Project aims at bringing knowledge on the potential topical application of a new class of tight-binding NNRTIs.It covers the full spectrum of the development of a microbicide candidate,from chemical discovery and early tests in vitro,to preclinical testing and proof of principle animal studies.The following is a summary of the research activities performed up to the moment.
